What Inspires Jill Hull?

Family has always been the driving force behind everything I do. My father is a physician in our community, and he always took the time to share his experiences with me as I was growing up. Around age 12, I really started listening and learning from his experiences. He has had such a great influence on my life, and because of him, I chose the path of healthcare and management. I’m fortunate to embrace the support and advice he’s provided over the last 13 years of my career. And, although the kid in me looked up to him to impart his knowledge, the adult in me values the mentor he became.

My mother was a teacher; she retired while I was in high school and took on a role of serving others in any capacity possible. If someone is sick or needs help, she is always the first one there. My children would be lost without their Mimi to care for them.

Our family dynamic shifted quickly when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was a senior in high school at the time. It was a trying time for our family throughout her experience and her recovery. And, in the caring fashion of my mother, it only accelerated her motivation to continue to care for those who are fighting the battle against this illness. I have always tried to emulate her example.

In the early stages of my career, I served as a medic in the United States Air Force. During that time, I learned a lot about myself and about serving others. Even in uncomfortable situations, it was a fulfilling opportunity being part of a team and working towards a higher purpose. Those eight years were some of my favorite thus far.

Now as a wife and a mother, my family continues to be my greatest joy and inspiration. My husband and I have been married for ten years, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner to raise our five kids and our goofball Goldendoodle. Every day is a new adventure with them; my family’s love motivates me to continue to serve and uplift others.

What drew me to join Teledigm Health was their strength in mission-focused work. I have an opportunity to use my expertise to help others in remote and underserved communities gain access to the healthcare they need. Whether it’s the communities we’re in, the providers and staff we support, or our internal team, we are making real, positive changes through collaborating and supporting each other. Seeing firsthand the difference telemedicine makes is truly rewarding, and driving innovation leads my passion with Teledigm Health.
